Meet us out in the community for this special storytime series! Each program will take place at a different location in Springfield. This week, join us at White St Fire STATION 3 to read stories with a firefighter. 

Join us every Tuesday for Big Kid Storytime to enjoy stories and songs that are well suited for kids ages 4-6, with their grown ups!

Join us Saturday mornings this summer for an all ages, family storytime in the sunshine! Each week we'll meet in the Children's Room at 11:00 and head outside to the Museum Courtyard to read books, sing songs, and get silly.

Join us for a giant game of Chutes and Ladders! You will be the game piece. Try to make it to the end of the game board first!

All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Magnificent Danger is an energetic collective of brass and percussion dishing out funky mashups of iconic tunes from your favorite video games and anime.

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods.

For master builders aged 5-11!

Join us in the Mason Square Community Room, where we will have four tables set up with nets for tabletop tennis fun. Ages 5-18.

Join us on Wednesday nights this summer to level up your gaming skills! Bring your family and friends for a weekly offering of classic board games and periodically break out our Nintendo Switch! Light snacks will be provided.

Every Wednesday night in July, check out Family Game Night in Central Library’s community room! Join our Big Game or pick your own game to play. Snacks will be provided. Recommended for 6+ but all ages are welcome.
