  by Daniel Shays in 1786-1787, Shays' Rebellion was the armed uprisin
 g of farmers in response to their economic hardship. Librarian and Adjunct
  Professor of History, Gregg Mitchell, will help us learn about this inter
 esting part of our local history and the revolutionary spirit of Western M
 assachusetts.
