Event Details

Build your confidence with using the internet safely, including creating passwords, and responding to emails, by learning the basics to cybersecurity. By the end of class you will be able to identify a secure website, employ tips to create a strong password that you can remember, and identify key factors in an email that indicate a scam. Registration is required.

Students should have basic typing and mouse skills before the first class. If you need to learn to use a mouse and keyboard, we recommend attending our Typing Club series. You also should already understand the basics of how to use a computer, what email is, and how to go to the internet.

If you have questions, please call 413-263-6828 ext. 213 or email ask@springfieldlibrary.org
