TeensProgram Description
Event Details
Join us for this this interactive storytelling workshop. Teens begin by actively listening to a story, analyzing and discussing how the story made them feel. We will identify what happens in the tale and how the actions were relayed. Then we learn to notice intonations, gestures, sounds, body motions as well as consider the basic elements that make a story a story. After this exploration, teens will share their own stories choosing from a variety of mediums such as props, nesting dolls, puppets, written and retold folktales or their very own made up tales.
This Program was supported by grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
