Purpose of Meeting
Generational Seeds Inc. is a self-directed educational center that prioritizes natural literacy, gardening, steam education, environmental stewardship, and culinary arts for children 4-12. The founder, Jamilla Jones, a lifetime educator, gardener, chef, and teacher throughout Western Massachusetts, created Generational Seeds to reconnect children with nature-free families from coercive schooling and allow each child and their family to learn through play. Our Literacy, Growing, and Cooking Hangout is open to 15 families for an hour and a half of storytime, games, seeding, and making a light vegetable snack in the community with one another.
