Event Details

John expert John Root for a presentation about Mushrooms of the Northeast, featuring the amazing diversity of our native fungi. Habitats, seasons of availability, and identifying characteristics of both edible and poisonous mushrooms are discussed. Questions and comments are welcome, and illustrated pamphlets with guidelines for safe and responsible foraging, descriptions of select species, and references for further study are offered to participants.
