Event Details

Sean Gaskell will present an educational performance on the kora, a 21-stringed West African harp. Many songs featured on the kora preserve an 800 year history dating back to the founding of the Mande empire. Gaskell studied under the extensive instruction of musicians in Gambia and Senegal and has performed for all ages in hundreds of shows throughout the United States and Canada. All ages are welcome to this performance.
