After School Café / Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
Come and browse from a sample of English and Spanish titles waiting for you to check and read. We'll highlight Latino authors as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
Thursdays this fall, get messy and make some art! Artists will explore different materials and styles, learn some art history, and most importantly get their hands dirty and have fun! Recommended for art lovers 6-11, no art experience required.

Music of the West African Kora with Sean Gaskell
Sean Gaskell will present an educational performance on the kora, a 21-stringed West African harp. Many songs featured on the kora preserve an 800 year history dating back to the founding of the Mande empire.
