Attention LEGO enthusiasts! All are invited to drop in for our freestyle Lego Building Club. Make new friends and browse our library's many LEGO-themed books. Have the freedom to build using your imagination.

Calling all parents with young children! We invite you along with your child for a fun filled hour of gross motor fun to develop physical abilities.

Welcome to Code Builders 2.0 - our all ages, drop-in club where you can explore robotics, coding languages (like Scratch and Python), and even 3D design & printing!

This club is open to aspiring coders of all ages.

Join us to share monthly thematic readings celebrating the Hispanic and Native American Cultural Heritage.

Family friendly chess club is now open to all ages.  Kids to come learn and sharpen their skills in a supportive environment and Adults can start as beginners or be matched up with other players on their level.

Held every Tuesday morning. Geared toward toddlers ages 3 and under with their grown-ups!

Join us every Tuesday for Big Kid Storytime to enjoy stories and songs that are well suited for kids ages 4-6, with their grown ups!

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Come listen to your new favorite stories in English and Spanish followed by free play with new pals!

LEGO to the Library!  Do you enjoy building with Legos? Join us at the library every Tuesday afternoon between 3:30-4:30 for LEGO club and build to your heart's content. This is a drop-in program for kids of all ages. 

Read with Jenn, a National Park Ranger. We will read aloud a book and do an activity that focuses on the parks and natural world in Springfield.

Enjoy reading in a quiet, comfortable environment with this silent book club for kids. Each week, we'll get cozy at the library for half an hour of solo reading, plus time at the end to chat and enjoy some snacks!

Visit the Mason Square Branch on Tuesday afternoons for some switch gaming!

Learn about shapes, colors, and textures with air-dry clay. Parents, please come ready to help your children and bring your family’s creations home. Dress for a mess. Designed for ages 5-6. Supplies may be limited to ages 3+ due to small parts.

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods.
