Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue Paper Painting, Watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we will be exploring.

We supply the artist-quality crayons, pencils and pens and coloring pages, to spark your creativity. Just drop by The Homework Center and color your stress away. For tweens and teens. 

Discover your summer and celebrate the start of Summer Reading at the Forest Park Library.

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Join us in a sensory friendly space to read together, practice social skills, and explore sensory activities.  This program is inclusive, but primarily created with children on the Autism Spectrum in mind. For ages 3 and up.

It's time to start the weekend with some games! We will have a Nintendo Switch running for up to 4 players, board games, cards, and legos available. Light refreshments provided. Tweens and teens ages 9-18 welcome!

Looking to add something new to your after-school snack cookbook? Kids can learn how to make fun and interesting snacks at the Forest Park Library! Every other week in the summer. Ideal for kids 6 and up. 

On Fridays we will play Mario Kart, Mario Party and Super Smash Bros Ultimate, on our brand new Switch. Bring your own controllers for 2+ multiplayer games. 3-5pm.

Come to a special  experience for pre-readers  and practiced readers of all ages. Our guests Megan and her certified therapy dog Cadence will share  some fun stories with you.

Bring a blanket, snacks and a snuggly teddy bear or your favorite stuffed friend to our library lawn for stories, songs and surprises! If it rains, we'll picnic indoors.
