Design and create your own bracelet and pair of earrings! Choose from a wide array of beads and charms to create unique pieces of jewelry. Try out using specialized tools for jewelry making and learn the basic skills!

Join us for a cozy afternoon of art! Paint your own masterpiece, while you enjoy a drink from our juice bar! Keep your painting for your space, or gift it to someone special!

Does your internal soundtrack sound like an old NES or Genesis game?

Join us at East Springfield to learn more about Garden Club. Ask us questions about your plants; indoor and outdoor plant care, and learn some tips and tricks from us!

Join us for our day-time, Open Studio session! You can bring a project to work on, or an idea to bounce off of other makers.

Come to the teen room to make a sock puppet pal that you'll be able to take home with you. We'll supply everything needed while supplies last. For ages 12-19. 

Stop by the Mason Square Branch Library on Tuesday afternoons for some gaming fun! Play a board game, a card game, or even a game on our Nintendo Switch! For ages 10-16. 

Using dried flowers and mason jar rings create lovely seasonal sun catcher windchimes. They are as pretty as they are musical. For ages 9-18. 

Each week we will have a drop-in project or two based on a theme.

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods. 

Come Switch it up at the library and play your choice of games.

We will play Mario Kart, Mario Party, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and other games on our brand new Switch. Bring your own controllers for 2+ multiplayer games.

Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue Paper Painting, Watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we will be exploring.

For 6 weeks, the Central Library will be doing a crafts for kids Wednesday evenings.

Every week will feature a new and exciting project to work on and take home!

Join the Western Mass Writers Guild for our monthly meeting at the Springfield Library. Writers of all skill levels are welcome to attend. Meetings include writing “sprints,” idea collaboration and general camaraderie.

We supply the artist-quality crayons, pencils and pens and coloring pages, to spark your creativity. Just drop by and color your stress away. For tweens and teens. 

The adult chess club is for chess players of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you're looking for a casual game or a competitive match, check out the library's adult chess club. 

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!
