Join us Friday afternoons in the Makerspace to create your own masterpiece. Each workshop will cover a different skill and material, including: pottery, figure sculpture, wire sculpture, painting, and more. All materials provided.

Come visit the Mason Square Branch on January 11th and January 25th for the Chainmail Club! We will be making two new chainmail bracelets, different from the patterns we have done before!

Stop by the Forest Park Library to develop your sewing skills, make new friends, and have fun! Each month we will have a guided project to build your skills, or bring your own project and meet other sewers. Share your skills and tips with others!

Learn how to “paint” with wool in this seasonal landscape. Use a barbed needle to attach colorful wool to an embroidery hoop. You'll leave the class with a finished piece, basic tools and the knowledge you'll need to felt on your own.

Brighten up those dreary days and dive into a whimsical winter wonderland by painting and decorating your own beautiful evergreen tree. 

Join us on Mondays in the Children's Room to create exciting winter crafts together. 

Join us for our Listen and Draw program for kids who love to draw and create. Listen to an audiobook to inspire your imagination. Draw a picture or make a craft. No art experience required.

Join us on Mondays this winter for some messy, sensory art for toddlers. This program is designed with children 3-5 years old in mind, younger children are welcome but may require more help.

New members are welcome, and current members are often willing to share their skills. Some yarn and needles can be provided, but donations are always welcome.

Join us for our day-time, Open Studio session! You can bring a project to work on, or an idea to bounce off of other makers.

Every Tuesday we will place crafting materials and instructions out on tables in the center of the library for patrons to use. This program is designed for teens and tweens, but adults and younger children are welcome as well.

Each week we will have a drop-in project or two based on a theme.

You've never painted like this before! Teens will have 30 minutes to paint a canvas before they switch with a partner and finish the other person's painting in the next 30 minutes. A creative challenge for artists of all levels!

Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue Paper Painting, Watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we will be exploring.

Join us as we make perler bead creations using patterns or design your own original piece! Perler beads are plastic fuse beads that you place on a grid and melt together. They are a fun way to explore your creativity! For ages 9 and up.

Join us every Wednesday evening for games, crafts, snacks, and conversation. For teens 13+

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Learn how to needle felt wool with Pop up Art School. Use a barbed needle and wool roving to create a felted gnome. In this beginner’s class, you’ll learn how to sculpt basic shapes and attach them together.
