This fun and easy embroidery style heart can be stitched onto a card or a canvas to create a great gift for your Valentine!

Join us for our day-time, Open Studio session! You can bring a project to work on, or an idea to bounce off of other makers.

Each week we will have a drop-in project or two based on a theme.

Join us to celebrate the Chinese New Year "Year of the Snake" with stories and activities. Make a Light Lantern and try some tasty rice balls and Chinese cookies.

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Join the fun at the East Forest Park Library and create your own special hand puppet! What kind of puppet will you make: an animal, superhero or your favorite book character? What will you name your puppet?

Every Tuesday we will place crafting materials and instructions out on tables in the center of the library for patrons to use. This program is designed for teens and tweens, but adults and younger children are welcome as well. 

Stop by the Mason Square Branch Library on Tuesday afternoons for some gaming fun! Play a board game, a card game, or even a game on our Nintendo Switch! For ages 10-16. 

Are you up to the LEGO Challenge? Join other LEGO Questers in building our Challenge of the month, or build your own. Tuesdays, 3-5 pm. Indian Orchard branch. For ages 5 and up. 

Join Springfield Thunderbirds hockey player Drew Callin as he shares some of his favorite books with you. He’ll be joined by a teammate. We will have a scavenger hunt or other activity as well. Great for families.

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods. 

Come read with the softest and most cuddly rabbit, Henry! Reading aloud improves literacy skills and builds confidence. Open to early and experienced readers of all ages. 

Looking for people to play music with? Always wanted to learn an instrument? Drop in to our beginner-intermediate music club with your guitar, ukulele or other acoustic instrument and start jamming or learning your favorite songs!

On Fridays we will play Mario Kart, Mario Party and Super Smash Bros Ultimate, on our brand new Switch. Bring your own controllers for 2+ multiplayer games. 3-5pm.

Join us Friday afternoons in the Makerspace to create your own masterpiece. Each workshop will cover a different skill and material, including: pottery, figure sculpture, wire sculpture, painting, and more. All materials provided.

Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue Paper Painting, Watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we will be exploring.
