Have you ever wanted to show your support for a cause or introduce people to your favorite show? Come into the Brightwood Branch to make your very own buttons you can attach to anything!

Come learn new crochet skills with your choice of project! Participants will learn to make either a granny square or a hair bandana. Some materials provided, little experience needed.

Join us for a refreshing afternoon of art! Paint your own masterpiece, while you enjoy a soft drink you created from our juice bar! Keep your painting for your space, or gift it to someone special!

Open to teens 12-19.  

Create a faux etched glass mirror that's as unique as you. Go seaside, go art deco, go any way you wish!

Find out how fun Monday afternoons can be! Join us this summer for a different Monday Funday activity each week. We'll play, build, craft, and create! Recommended for children ages 6 and up.
 

Decorate a premade mini squishy or make a Minecraft inspired mini squishy with sponges and markers. Dress for a mess. Designed for older children, tweens, teens, and adults. 

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Join us on Tuesdays this July for some messy, sensory art for toddlers and preschoolers. This program is designed with children 3-6 years old in mind, younger children are welcome but may require more help.

Each week we will have a drop-in project or two based on a theme.

Learn all about the hobby of letterboxing, an activity that combines art, gaming, and hiking!

Join us in the Children's Room on Mondays this July and August to create exciting crafts together!

Learn about game design and create your own board game prototype in this six-week gaming workshop! We'll start by playing games and talking about what makes them tick. Then we'll get crafty, planning and designing our own board games.

This adventurous mini slime devours all things that sparkle and shine. Level up your slime at our upgrade station to make it smooth or fluffy. Due to small parts, this activity is for ages 5+. DO NOT EAT. Handwashing suggested after use. 

Light Up the Night with a Firefly Candle Holder. Using a votive candle, a mason jar, tissue paper and mod podge we'll make a sparkly night light. For ages 6 and up.

Curious about crochet, but don't know where to begin? Stop by our Crochet 101 class at the Brightwood Branch and learn some basics from librarian Macklin. Please register, as space is limited. Ages 13+.

Learn how to bind your own journal using the 4-Hole Japanese Stab Binding. Please be present for entire program. We will learn the stitch and then have time to free write or create additional journals. All supplies provided.

Join us every Wednesday evening for games, crafts, snacks, and conversation. For teens 13+

Stop by the Crafter Hours drop-in to work on a project (or start a new one) with us! We'll have plenty of supplies to use and some past crafts for inspiration. Ages 16+ please, all levels of craftiness welcome.
