We supply the artist-quality crayons, pencils and pens and coloring pages, to spark your creativity. Just drop by The Homework Center and color your stress away. For tweens and teens. 

Develop your sewing skills, make new friends, and have fun!

Teens, tweens, and big kids join us to watch and talk about anime! Make new friends and find new anime. 

Join us for our day-time, Open Studio session! You can bring a project to work on, or an idea to bounce off of other makers.

Each week we will have a drop-in project or two based on a theme.

SPECIAL PROJECT!

If you have thought about dipping your creative toe into model trains or miniatures, we have an exciting project for you!

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Stop by the Mason Square Branch Library on Tuesday afternoons for some gaming fun! Play a board game, a card game, or even a game on our Nintendo Switch! For ages 10-16. 

Are you up to the LEGO Challenge? Join other LEGO Questers in building our Challenge of the month, or build your own. Tuesdays, 3-5 pm. Indian Orchard branch. For ages 5 and up. 

Are all the apples in your home going into homemade pies for the holidays? Do you want your very own apple that won't go bad and won't get made into a pie? Come into Brightwood to paint and create an apple made out of paper bags!

Join us every other Wednesday in September, October, and November at the Forest Park Library for Wow Wednesdays! We will be doing a variety of crafts and activities, but all of it will be fun! For tweens and teens, ages 11-18. 

Join Springfield Thunderbirds hockey player Drew Callin as he shares some of his favorite books with you. He’ll be joined by a teammate. We will have a scavenger hunt or other activity as well. Great for families.

This program is a series of classes on the basics of crochet and making 3D objects.

Always wanted to learn an instrument? Drop in to our beginner ukulele club and start learning your favorite songs! Ages 12-18

Nothing to do before the weekend? Don't want to spend your summer gaming alone? Visit the Forest Park Library and play board game or pick up a Nintendo Switch Joycon and join a Smash tournament. We'll be gaming every Friday this summer!

On Fridays we will play Mario Kart, Mario Party and Super Smash Bros Ultimate, on our brand new Switch. Bring your own controllers for 2+ multiplayer games. 3-5pm.

Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue Paper Painting, Watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we will be exploring.
