Wavewalker: A Memoir of Breaking Free by Suzanne Heywood (2023) nonfiction.

At age seven, Suzanne Heywood set sail with her family on what was supposed to be a three-year voyage around the world. What followed was a decade-long way of life through storms, shipwrecks, reefs, and isolation, with little formal schooling.
