Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Whether you knit, crochet, cross-stitch, or crewel, these groups are the place for you.

April is National Poetry Month! Celebrate at the library with blackout poetry. Using pages torn out of discarded books, participants will black out selected words to create their very own poem!

LEGO to the Library!  Do you enjoy building with Legos? Join us at the library every Tuesday afternoon between 3:30-4:30 for LEGO club and build to your heart's content. This is a drop-in program for kids of all ages. 

Visit the Mason Square Branch on Tuesday afternoons for some switch gaming!

The Makerspace is open! 

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods. 

Join us every other Wednesday at the Forest Park Library for Wow Wednesdays! We will be doing a variety of crafts and activities, but all of it will be fun! For tweens and teens, ages 11-18. 

Get crafty! Let's make something together.

We will be creating animals, critters and other things from pipe cleaners. For school aged children. 

Practice your Spanish and help others practice their English in a weekly conversation circle and safe space for cultural exchange! We will spend half the time practicing Spanish and the other half practicing English, with a break in between.

Do you want your creativity sparked through drawing and art? Are you up for a Challenge of the Month?  Who’s ready for fun art challenges?

Always wanted to learn an instrument? Drop in to our beginner ukulele club and start learning your favorite songs! All ages

Create your own mini mindful journal. Decorate the cover.  Reflect on your thoughts, feelings and experiences each day, as you enhance your overall wellbeing. All ages.

Map reading is an important skill to cultivate, even in the age of GPS.

Attention LEGO enthusiasts! All are invited to drop in for our freestyle Lego Building Club. Make new friends and browse our library's many LEGO-themed books. Have the freedom to build using your imagination.

Come to the Forest Park Library to color in a calm environment. We've got a wide array of options from crayons to acrylic markers. Enjoy quiet music and snacks, talking is optional. Every other Friday afternoon. 

Parents, grandparents, and other guardians can team up with their children to add new characters or images to a landscape picture. We provide supplies; and you provide the imagination.

Add some green to your space! Join us in the Central Library Community Room and learn to make a mini terrarium for your desk, bookshelf, or dorm room. Supplies will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

Want to crochet but not sure where to start? Want to learn how to make a granny square? Found a really cool pattern but not quite sure how to make sense of it? Come learn to crochet or further your skills!

Find your poem in 90 minutes. Ever feel an emotion you wish you could capture? Poetry is that act of capturing. 

Wildlife on Wheels is rolling to the Library! Meet a selection of live animal ambassadors with educators from the Forest Park Zoo.

Come enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, and other light refreshments with your neighbors!
