Join us for the Silent Book Club, where we gather to read and talk about books. Bring your own book for an hour of independent reading (with snacks!). After reading, we chat about our books and share recommendations. For Adults and Teens 16+.

Stop by the Crafter Hours drop-in to work on a project (or start a new one) with us! We'll have plenty of supplies to use and some past crafts for inspiration. Ages 16+ please, all levels of craftiness welcome.

The Any Book Club (ABC) meets bi-monthly to share stories about their recent reads. Members of the Any Book Club review books they've read recently so others can learn about what's great and - sometimes - what's not.

Let us provide the Play-Doh and worry about cleaning up the mess while your toddler focuses on creating! Aimed at toddlers ages 2-4, but older siblings welcome.

Come join us for educational fun and learning at a librarian facilitated playgroup!  No registration required, just drop in anytime during the program.  Birth - 5 years, siblings welcome.

The adult chess club is for chess players of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you're looking for a casual game or a competitive match, check out the library's adult chess club.

Overheating in jeans all summer? Want to turn them in to a chic pair of jorts? This Upcycling Workshop is for you! Participants will bring in little used clothing items and learn how to give them a new life!

New members are welcome, and current members are often willing to share their skills. Some yarn and needles can be provided, but donations are always welcome.

Join us for adaptable chair yoga! Using gentle stretching while seated, chair yoga allows adults of all abilities to improve flexibility and balance. This series will also include chair yoga modifications using wall and mat positions.

Come to the Forest Park Library to color in a calm environment. We've got a wide array of options from crayons to acrylic markers. Enjoy quiet music and snacks, talking is optional. Every other Friday afternoon. 

What is a seed bomb? Also known as seed balls or flower bombs, they are little balls of seeds, dirt and clay that are tossed into any barren areas in need of flowers. Join us to make a wildflower seed bomb of your own! All supplies provided!

Unwind and get creative at our Candle Making Workshop! This hands-on class teaches you the art of crafting candles. You will learn how to blend essential oils to create your own unique, calming scent profile.

Join us at the East Springfield Library Branch on Saturday afternoons to discuss notable films, television shows, documentaries, and docuseries that are created by Black people or starring Black actors.

Come test your paper airplane-making skills! Participants will use provided materials and limited instruction to craft their paper airplane and compete head to head. Prizes will be awarded to the top preforming Airplanes!
