The Makerspace is open! 

The adult chess club is for chess players of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you're looking for a casual game or a competitive match, check out the library's adult chess club. 

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods. 

Hungry after school? Not sure what to make? Come learn easy microwave recipes with simple ingredients!

Come hang out in our big comfy chairs and wind down with a friend. 

Join us every Wednesday evening for games, crafts, snacks, and conversation. For teens 13+

Join a lively discussion with other book lovers and growth-minded individuals, and enjoy your favorite brew, too!

Wish you had more time to read? Looking for some book lovers to hang out with? Join us for Silent Book Club! One night a month, we get cozy at the library for an hour of solo reading and time at the end to chat.

Love to read? If so, come meet us at the Raymond Jordan Senior Center for our monthly Book Club! We read mostly historical fiction but at times delve into non-fiction, contemporary fiction, and mysteries.

Come join us for educational fun and learning at a librarian facilitated playgroup!  No registration required, just drop in anytime during the program.  Birth - 5 years, siblings welcome.

Are you interested in Springfield's history? This group is for those who are familiar with its history along with those who are looking to learn about it. Discussions will be about the people, events, and buildings of Springfield.

For master builders of all ages!

Come to the Forest Park Library to color in a calm environment. We've got a wide array of options from crayons to acrylic markers. Enjoy quiet music and snacks, talking is optional. Every other Friday afternoon. 

We discuss a different romance novel each month - our choices explore all the sub-genres, and a wide representation of characters. One Saturday a month, online via Zoom.

Want to crochet but not sure where to start? Want to learn how to make a granny square? Found a really cool pattern but not quite sure how to make sense of it? Come learn to crochet or further your skills!

You've heard of Dungeons and Dragons, but what about all the other role playing systems? Join us as we explore different RPG options from all corners of the multiverse. Pre-generated characters and dice will be available at each session.
