Join us for our day-time, Open Studio session! You can bring a project to work on, or an idea to bounce off of other makers.

Stop by for an afternoon of crafting fun at the library! We bring the supplies and snacks, you bring the creativity. 

Visit the Forest Park Branch library each month to try out a new craft! Craft your cares away together by trying new projects and learning new skills. Learn the basics of sewing, make a memorizing glitter bottle, or start a family of pet rocks.

Ever wanted to try embroidery? Join us for a 2-part class for beginners and people who want to refresh their skills. Once you learn common stitches, you can stitch all sort of things!

Join the fun while completing a seascape painting from start to finish. Using a step-by-step method, we will create a painting using brushes and non-traditional tools. All supplies provided.  Limited to 8 participants, so please preregister.

We supply the artist-quality crayons, pencils and pens and coloring pages, to spark your creativity. Just drop by The Homework Center and color your stress away. For tweens and teens.

Ranger Susan from the Springfield Armory Museum will lead storytimes with activities.  The themes will be based on Nature, animals and the Outdoors.  

Using three common household ingredients you can make your own fluffy slime! Stretch it, squish it, mold it! For ages 5-12. Younger with adult help.
