Unwind and get creative at our Candle Making Workshop! This hands-on class teaches you the art of crafting candles. You will learn how to blend popular fragrance oils to create your own unique scent profile.

Celebrate your reading by coloring your own Reading Dragon card. During open hours. Continue the fun by reading to earn more cool cards.

Attention LEGO enthusiasts! All are invited to drop in for our freestyle Lego Building Club. Make new friends and browse our library's many LEGO-themed books. Have the freedom to build using your imagination.

In 2026, the Springfield City Library is adding a seed library to every branch! But we need your help - we received another large donation of seeds and need to repackage them from our vendor packets into individual portions.

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Whether you knit, crochet, cross-stitch, or crewel, these groups are the place for you.

Join us every other Wednesday at the Forest Park Library for Wow Wednesdays! We will be doing a variety of crafts and activities, but all of it will be fun! For tweens and teens, ages 11-18.

Join us for some after-school crafting on the 1st Wednesday of the month! Some examples are soap making, painting, and glitter bottles!

Come to the Forest Park Library to color in a calm environment. We've got a wide array of options from crayons to acrylic markers. Enjoy quiet music and snacks, talking is optional. Every other Friday afternoon. 

Come hang out in our big comfy chairs and wind down with a friend.
