Come read with the softest and most cuddly rabbit, Henry! Reading aloud improves literacy skills and builds confidence. Open to early and experienced readers of all ages. 

Join Springfield Thunderbirds hockey player Drew Callin as he shares some of his favorite books with you. He’ll be joined by a teammate. We will have a scavenger hunt or other activity as well. Great for families.

Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue Paper Painting, Watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we will be exploring.

Join local historian Patrick Duquette for a brief lecture on Native American history in the Indian Orchard area! Light refreshments will be served.

The adult chess club is for chess players of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you're looking for a casual game or a competitive match, check out the library's adult chess club. 

Drop-in for our weekly studio session. From sewing a button or hemming pants, to following a pattern to construct a garment using a sewing machine, our sewing volunteer can help you get started!

Celebrate International LEGO Day at the Library. Enjoy snacks, prizes, and, of course, LEGO-building fun! Recommended for grades K-12. All skill levels are welcome.
