Experience the Community Music School of Springfield at the library!

Join Judi Jones, aka ENERGIZER, for a musical and interactive Hoop Dancing (hula hooping) program. Dancin’ with Hoops blends creative movement, dance, exercise, and play. Hula hoops will be provided for use. All ages are welcomed to participate.

Always wanted to learn an instrument? Drop in to our beginner ukulele club and start learning your favorite songs! Ages 12-18

Join us at the Mason Square Branch and make a fluid art masterpiece!

Think you're the ultimate gamer? Join us at the All Ages Trivia Night at the Brightwood Branch Library to prove your mettle in this family friendly trivia night. Questions will be themed around board games, TTRPGs, and video games.

New members are welcome, and current members are often willing to share their skills. Some yarn and needles can be provided, but donations are always welcome.

Join us for 45 minutes of chair yoga. Using gentle stretching while seated, chair yoga allows adults of all abilities to improve flexibility and balance. Instructor Cindy Senk, a certified accessible yoga teacher, will lead the class.

Go on vacation or back to school in style with a one-of-a-kind decorated tote bag made by you! We'll be using paint and/or fabric markers in order to create some amazing designs that are all yours! 

Tote bags will be limited.

Attention LEGO enthusiasts! All are invited to drop in for our freestyle Lego Building Club. Make new friends and browse our library's many LEGO-themed books. Have the freedom to build using your imagination.

No registration required. Adult must accompany children. Presented in collaboration with Home City Families. For ages 12 mos. - 6 years, siblings welcome.

Come to the East Forest Park branch library to show off your Scrabble skills! Test your vocabulary – and your opponents – at this weekly drop-in program, this summer only. Ages 16+.

Come to the Forest Park Library to color in a calm environment. We've got a wide array of options from crayons to acrylic markers. Enjoy quiet music and snacks, talking is optional. Every other Friday afternoon in the summers. 

We discuss a different romance novel each month - our choices explore all the sub-genres, and a wide representation of characters. One Saturday a month, online via Zoom.

Join us Saturday mornings this summer for an all ages, family storytime in the sunshine! Each week we'll meet in the Children's Room at 11:00 and head outside to the Museum Courtyard to read books, sing songs, and get silly.

Do you want to try Dungeons & Dragons but don’t know how to start? Do you remember playing, but don’t have a group to play with now? Come to the East Forest Park library’s Dungeons & Dragons for Adults group! All levels welcome.

Join us at the Mason Square Branch the 2nd Saturday of every month for some chain-mailling! We'll have a few different patterns from past classes to make again!
