No registration required. Adult must accompany children. Presented in collaboration with Home City Families. For ages 12 mos. - 6 years, siblings welcome.

"Circle time" is not only a fun experience for your child but also a great way to be ready for preschool and kindergarten. Be sure to browse our extensive collection of children's books and multimedia before or after the program!

Come decorate your very own journal. We will have journals, markers and craft supplies for everyone to drop in, design and take how a journal. 

Come and join us every Wednesday for a bilingual story time in the English and Spanish languages: songs, rhymes, stories, and crafts. Make friends and enjoy snacks.

If you love collaborative storytelling and role-playing, join the Tabletop RPG Club! We'll be playing Dungeons & Dragons, Blades in the Dark, Powered by the Apocalypse games, and more.

Transform any t-shirt into a carryall bag! Shirts will be provided (while supplies last) but you can also bring your own.

Are you interested in learning how to sew, or maybe just want to brush up your skills? Drop-in for our weekly studio session.

Come join us for a creative summer inspired painting session! Try out a new painting technique where you'll create a beach scene using real beach sand and shells.

The first Friday of the month we will play Mario Cart, Mario Party and Super Smash Bros Ultimate, on our brand new Switch. 2-4pm. For ages 12-18.

It's time to start the weekend with some games! We will have board games, puzzles, legos, and crafts available! 

Can you beat a librarian at Jenga or Uno? We're guessing, the answer is "yes" ;) 

Join us Monday afternoons this summer for a different Monday Funday activity each week! We'll play, build, craft, and create! Geared for children ages 5 and up. 

This week we are doing a Lego challenge!

Every Monday we'll have art supplies and crafting supplies available for teens to create a project in the teen room or take home to complete there. Teens 12-19 welcome.

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods. 

Stop by the Forest Park Branch Library on Wednesday afternoons for some gaming fun! Play a board game, a card game, or even a game on our Nintendo Switch! For ages 11-18. 

Create a painting with the art supplies we provide, but there's a twist. At the end of the program, teens will swap art with each other, for a fresh new work to take home to display!  Teens 13-18 welcome.

Join us Saturday afternoons for an all ages, themed family storytime. Each week we'll read books, get silly, and do an activity, all about a special theme. Costumes and toys are encouraged!

This Saturday's theme is Pets! 

Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue Paper Painting, Watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we will be exploring.

Join us every Wednesday evening for games, crafts, snacks, and conversation. Come hang out in our big comfy chairs and wind down with a friend. 

For teens 13+

Want to learn to code! Do you like video games, robotics, and website design or just think it's neat. Come to Fiero Code Club to learn the basics of computer programing and all the skills needed to become a master coder.

Join a lively discussion with other book lovers, and enjoy your favorite brew too. Books & Brew meets in person at Nathan Bill's Restaurant in Springfield. First Wednesday of each month | Adults 21+

In case of rain or excessive heat today, 7/5, this session will be held in the community room instead.
