Storytime plays an important role in building early literacy and social skills. Join us for books, songs, and playtime specifically designed for babies, toddlers and their caregivers. Recommended for families with children under three years old. No registration required, but we appreciate a call ahead if your group has 6 children or more.

The Any Book Club (ABC) meets bi-monthly to share stories about their recent reads. In rotation with one another, members review books they've read recently so others can learn about what's great and, sometimes, what's not! Those who enjoy adult fiction will feel especially at home, but all adult readers are welcomed.

Members can attend either or both sessions. Adults | 18+

The Springfield City Library is delighted to partner with the Hampden County Law Library to offer the public the opportunity to talk with a Law Librarian from the Hampden County Courts. Join us on Zoom every Tuesday from 1-2 pm to ask the Law Librarian any legal research questions you may have. We supply the artist-quality crayons, pencils and pens and coloring pages, to spark your creativity. Just drop by and color your stress away. (Please ask for supplies in the Children's Room.)

In this cooking class series, folks who love to cook at home can come together to create a shared meal. Each month a different cookbook, theme, or chef will be selected as the focus. Participants can bring a dish to share based on each month's theme, but is not mandatory. Pre-registration is required. (Note: Classes with 0 or 1 registrants the day before will be canceled.)
