The program includes a period of continuous movement designed to get your heart rate up, followed by a series of balance, strengthening and flexibility exercises intended to improve your mobility and independence. For adults 60+.

Wee Ones is a special storytime developed for toddlers that encourages  interaction through stories, music and play. Come have fun while building early literacy and social skills. For children and their caregivers.

Attention LEGO enthusiasts! All are invited to drop in for our freestyle building Lego Club. Make new friends and browse our library's many LEGO-themed books. Have the freedom to build using your imagination.

Come and browse from a sample of English and Spanish titles, fiction and nonfiction, waiting for you to check out and read.

End of the week blues got you down? Visit the Forest Park branch every other Friday after school for some gaming fun in the teen area! We'll have a variety of board and card games along with our Nintendo Switch! For t(w)eens, ages 11-18.

Family friendly chess club for kids to come learn and sharpen their skills in a supportive environment.

Visit the Forest Park Branch library each month to try out a new craft! Craft your cares away together by trying new projects and learning new skills. Learn the basics of sewing, make a memorizing glitter bottle, or start a family of pet rocks.

Come hang out and craft on Wednesday evenings from 4-5:30pm. Embroider, sew, stitch, knit, or anything else you desire. We will provide embroidery materials, strings and needles, but feel free to bring your own crafting projects to work on.

Make your springtime blossom with our Spring Flowers Suncatchers! Using special markers, paint and suncatcher frames these will show you the world through bright, beautiful colors. For ages 10-18. Younger with parental supervision.

Celebrate the excitement of March Madness with delectable snacks prepared right here at the library. Bring your appetite, your enthusiasm, and get ready for a slam dunk of flavors!

Get ready to get messy! Put on your painting clothes and join us for a messy painting party! Choose from a variety of surfaces and types of paints. Use brushes, foam stamps, fingers, or elbows!

Bring a project to work on, or an idea to bounce off of other makers. Instruction and access to the equipment will be available: Cricut cutter, sewing machines, 3D printers, recording studio, and more!

The group reads mostly contemporary novels, although occasionally historical fiction, adventures, and some non-fiction. The book club members jointly choose upcoming books. No registration required, just drop by.

Come join us at the East Forest Park library for adult board game night! We’ll provide the games and instruction – bring a friend, meet a neighbor, and learn a new game with us! All levels welcome. Ages 18+ please.
