Week Calendar

Held every Tuesday morning. Geared toward toddlers ages 3 and under with their grown-ups!

Meditating in a group gives a sense of community and camaraderie connected to sharing the practice and benefits of meditation.

The Any Book Club (ABC) meets bi-monthly to share stories about their recent reads. Members of the Any Book Club review books they've read recently so others can learn about what's great and - sometimes - what's not.

Let us provide the Play-Doh and worry about cleaning up the mess while your toddler focuses on creating! Aimed at toddlers ages 2-4, but older siblings welcome.

Come join us for educational fun and learning at a librarian facilitated playgroup!  No registration required, just drop in anytime during the program.  Birth - 5 years, siblings welcome.

New members are welcome, and current members are often willing to share their skills. Some yarn and needles can be provided, but donations are always welcome.

Join us for a silly and fun storytime on Tuesday mornings. We'll read, sing, and play with toys together. Geared towards babies and toddlers, older siblings welcome.   

This club is for dominoes players of all levels - beginners are welcome! Come meet new people and socialize over a game.

The Springfield City Library is delighted to partner with the Hampden County Law Library to offer the public the opportunity to talk with a Law Librarian from the Hampden County Courts.

Pull on your walking shoes and join us for the Silent Book Club: Walking Edition. Participants will meet at the library before walking 30-45 minutes in the East Forest Park neighborhood as they listen to an audiobook of their choice.

Join us for a lecture on developing an herb garden at home!

This workshop consists of learning about the structure of copper and how to create drawings in metal and use letter stamps to create textures and words on the bookmarks. Each person will create their own copper bookmark to take home.

Join us for the Silent Book Club, where we gather to read and talk about books. Bring your own book for an hour of independent reading (with snacks!). After reading, we chat about our books and share recommendations. For Adults and Teens 16+.

Stop by the Crafter Hours drop-in to work on a project (or start a new one) with us! We'll have plenty of supplies to use and some past crafts for inspiration. Ages 16+ please, all levels of craftiness welcome.
