Meet Nile, a life-size inflatable humpback whale. Children are taken inside the belly of the whale to learn hands-on about these majestic creatures and how the environment impacts them- and us.

Stop by to learn about Job Corps. Job Corps is a free residential and job training program that helps both young adults as well as adults 25 years and older who have a disability to gain employment.

One instructor, 24 ukuleles, and a really good time! Julie will teach anyone from 3 to 93 how to play the ukulele in this fun session. This program is specifically geared toward families, so plan on participating with your child under 9.

Each week we will have a drop-in project or two based on a theme.

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods. 

Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue Paper Painting, Watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we will be exploring.

Sample different types of teas and relax with us, and learn about tea cultures around the world! All ages welcome.

In this cooking class series, folks who love to cook at home can come together to create a shared meal. Each month a different cookbook, theme, or chef will be selected as the focus.

Join us to learn the art of pyrography (wood burning). Using a wood burning pen, young adults will have the opportunity to create their own designs on a wood square to take home. For ages 13+. 

Discover the meditative properties of drawing repetitive patterns. Keep a design notebook and learn to create a doodle tile. For ages 16+

Join us each week for a quiet and sensory friendly storytime for babies and toddlers who are not yet walking. Siblings welcome!

Come join us for education fun and learning at a librarian facilitated playgroup!  An adult must accompany and consistently supervise children.  No registration required, just drop in. Birth to 5 years, siblings welcome.
