The adult chess club is for chess players of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you're looking for a casual game or a competitive match, check out the library's adult chess club.

Light Up the Night with a Solstice Fairy Light. Using fairy lights, a mason jar, tissue paper and Mod Podge we'll make a sparkly night light. For ages 6 and up. 

Stop by the Forest Park Library to develop your sewing skills, make new friends, and have fun! Each month we will have a guided project to build your skills, or bring your own project and meet other sewers. Share your skills and tips with others!

Make your very own furoshiki to take home and use to wrap gifts this holiday season. Participants will learn skills such as how to plan a seam allowance, how to hide raw edges, and how to top stitch, all on a sewing machine!

If you love collaborative storytelling and role-playing, join our D&D club! 

New members are welcome, and current members are often willing to share their skills. Some yarn and needles can be provided, but donations are always welcome.

Come into the Brightwood Branch to make wintery ornaments out of air dry clay! Create snowflakes, icicles or woodland animals that is sure to bring some sparkle to your home this winter!

Attention LEGO enthusiasts! All are invited to drop in for our freestyle Lego Building Club. Make new friends and browse our library's many LEGO-themed books. Have the freedom to build using your imagination.

No registration required. Adult must accompany children. Presented in collaboration with Home City Families. For ages 12 mos. - 6 years, siblings welcome.

Stop by the EFP Childrens’ Room for our weekly LEGO brick building challenge.  

For master builders of all ages!

Kids ages 8+ will use ceramics and mixed media to create holiday/winter inspired art to use as gifts or keepsakes.

Come to the Forest Park Library to color in a calm environment. We've got a wide array of options from crayons to acrylic markers. Enjoy quiet music and snacks, talking is optional. Every other Friday afternoon. 

We discuss a different romance novel each month - our choices explore all the sub-genres, and a wide representation of characters. One Saturday a month, online via Zoom.

Join us for a welcoming and inclusive event. Read together, make new friends, and explore our brand-new Communication Board. Activities are sensory-friendly and child-led, giving every child the chance to participate at their own pace.

Learn the basics of knitting and build your skills with guided lessons. No experience needed! Every month we will review casting on, counting stitches, garter stitch, and stockinette stitch for new patrons and beginners.

Do you want to try Dungeons & Dragons but don’t know how to start? Do you remember playing, but don’t have a group to play with now? Come to the East Forest Park library’s Dungeons & Dragons for Adults group! All levels welcome.
