The Springfield City Library is delighted to partner with the Hampden County Law Library to offer the public the opportunity to talk with a Law Librarian from the Hampden County Courts.

New members are welcome, and current members are often willing to share their skills. Some yarn and needles can be provided, but donations are always welcome.

Join us for our day-time, Open Studio session! You can bring a project to work on, or an idea to bounce off of other makers.

Join us for stories and songs every Tuesday afternoon! All children and their grown-ups are welcome, but preschool aged littles will find this storytime especially enjoyable!

Every Tuesday we will place crafting materials and instructions out on tables in the center of the library for patrons to use. This program is designed for teens and tweens, but adults and younger children are welcome as well. 

Stop by the Mason Square Branch Library on Tuesday afternoons for some gaming fun! Play a board game, a card game, or even a game on our Nintendo Switch! For ages 10-16. 

Be part of the Mardi Gras celebrations with a festive mask. We will be using feathers, gems and sparkles. We will make handprint masks for the younger children, and real masks with teens. For ages 6-18. 

Are you up to the LEGO Challenge? Join other LEGO Questers in building our Challenge of the month, or build your own. Tuesdays, 3-5 pm. Indian Orchard branch. For ages 5 and up. 

Join us for a brand new book club at the Brightwood Branch Library! We will be discussing hidden gems from the contemporary fiction genre.

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods. 

Join us for some after-school crafting on the 1st Wednesday of the month! Some examples are soap making, painting, and glitter bottles!

Come read with the softest and most cuddly rabbit, Henry! Reading aloud improves literacy skills and builds confidence. Open to early and experienced readers of all ages. 

Join us every other Wednesday in September, October, and November at the Forest Park Library for Wow Wednesdays! We will be doing a variety of crafts and activities, but all of it will be fun! For tweens and teens, ages 11-18. 

Weekly Meeting of Girl Scout Troop 65166

Join Meg as we do a different craft every week on Wednesday afternoons. Tissue paper painting, watercolor painting, finger painting, and floral book marks are some of the crafts we'll explore this spring.

Join us for movie night! We'll pick an up to PG-13 film from our collection each evening and enjoy some delicious snacks together. For ages 12-18. The first and third Wednesdays of March and April.
