Have some fun making your own DIY screen print! Participants will use a syrofoam try and a pencil to make their own printing block! Then we'll use the printing block with paint and a bryer to make as many prints as you'd like!

Attention LEGO enthusiasts! All are invited to drop in for our freestyle Lego Building Club. Make new friends and browse our library's many LEGO-themed books. Have the freedom to build using your imagination.

Stop by the Mason Square branch for an afternoon of doodle comics. Cara Bean, a successful cartoonist, educator, and author will be explaining the ins and outs of the comics-making process through a series of fun, easy prompts. For ages 5-18.

Visit the Mason Square branch every other Friday for some paper-quilling! We will have paper-quilling supplies for everyone to make their own creations! For teens and adults 14+

National Library Week is April 19-25, 2026. This year's theme, “Find Your Joy,” is an invitation for people of all backgrounds to explore and discover what sparks joy in them at the library. 

Nothing to do before the weekend? Visit the Forest Park Library and play board game or pick up a Nintendo Switch Joycon and join a Smash battle. We'll be gaming every other Friday this year! Recommended for ages 12 - 18. 

Come read with the softest and most cuddly rabbit, Henry! Reading aloud improves literacy skills and builds confidence. Open to early and experienced readers of all ages. 

Paint your own rock with a message of kindness to decorate the library or your neighborhood! All supplies provided.

This presentation covers everything you need to know about java. Learn about the history of both coffee and chocolate, preparation techniques, and pioneers of both industries while enjoying delicious samples! Adults 18+.

Join us for a cozy afternoon of art! Paint your own masterpiece, while you enjoy a warm hot cocoa or tea. Keep your painting for your space, or gift it to someone special!

Are you a creative writer? Come build community and improve your writing skills through prompts presented in a variety of learning styles. Participants will focus on particular skills based off the prompts for that month.

Do you love creating stories? Do you imagine yourself as the hero in your favorite stories? Do you enjoy games that require you to tackle a problem as a group? Then, tabletop RPG may be for you!

Decorate a wine glass or beer mug using paint pens. Trace our pre-printed images and lettered phrases or create your own free-hand masterpiece. No previous art experience necessary!

Join us as the crew from Groundlings of Florence Ma takes over our community room to provide their entertaining services, reading tarot, and other psychic fair activities. Registered patrons are guaranteed at least one reading of their choice.
