Canva is a graphic design website that offers easy and accessible tools to create flyers, social media images, and more. This class is great for small business owners, social media users, and folks who want a new creative hobby.

Held every Tuesday morning. Geared toward toddlers ages 3 and under with their grown-ups!

The Any Book Club (ABC) meets bi-monthly to share stories about their recent reads. Members of the Any Book Club review books they've read recently so others can learn about what's great and - sometimes - what's not.

Every Thursday we will offer an array of toddler friendly activities and toys to work on motor skills. Aimed at toddlers, but siblings welcome.

Come join us for educational fun and learning at a librarian facilitated playgroup! 

No registration required, just drop in anytime during the program.

Learn mindfulness with a certified teacher in this two-session series. Mindfulness has both physical and mental health benefits. Adults 18+. Space is limited to 15 students, first come, first serve.

Join us for 45 minutes of chair yoga. Using gentle stretching while seated, chair yoga allows adults of all abilities to improve flexibility and balance. Instructor Cindy Senk, a certified accessible yoga teacher, will lead the class.

Come get tech help from a tech expert! Twice a month an expert from TechHub will be available in at the East Springfield branch to help with thorny tech problems or basic tech questions.

Join us to share monthly thematic readings celebrating the Hispanic and Native American Cultural Heritage.

LEGO to the Library!  Do you enjoy building with Legos? Join us at the library every Tuesday afternoon between 3:30-4:30 for LEGO club and build to your heart's content. This is a drop-in program for kids of all ages. 

Read with Jenn, a National Park Ranger. We will read aloud a book and do an activity that focuses on the parks and natural world in Springfield.

Enjoy reading in a quiet, comfortable environment with this silent book club for kids. Each week, we'll get cozy at the library for half an hour of solo reading, plus time at the end to chat and enjoy some snacks!

Visit the Mason Square Branch on Tuesday afternoons for some switch gaming!

The Mobile Farmers Market is back.  The colorful truck will be making a weekly stop on Wednesdays.  The Farmers Market truck brings affordable, fresh fruits and vegetables to local neighborhoods.

Creative writing club for teens who love to write or want to try it out. Share your original poems, short stories, novels, and more; receive feedback on your work; and do fun writing activities! Snacks and notebooks provided.

Join Christina for Yoga for Kids on Wednesdays this September! Learn new movements and make new friends. Mats provided. Great for Pre-K to 4th graders! Adults accompanying children are welcome to participate! 

Join us weekly for the opportunity to practice speaking English in an informal, drop-in setting. This program is geared towards adult and older teens who have intermediate and advanced-level English skills to practice and expand vocabulary.

Come Switch it up at the library and play your choice of games!

We will play Mario Kart, Mario Party, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and other games on our brand new Switch. Bring your own controllers for 2+ multiplayer games.

Join us for an afternoon of opening painting and snacks! We will have canvas, paint, brushes, and easels for teens to use, and you get to bring home your art! Snacks will be provided!

Teen 12-20 are welcome.  

Thursdays this September, get messy and make some art! Artists will explore different materials and styles, learn some art history, and most importantly get their hands dirty and have fun!

Yoga instructor Christina Lam will lead this free 8-week series of Vinyasa Flow for Adults this fall! All skill levels welcome. Mats provided, but feel free to bring your own. 

Come on into the Brightwood Branch every month to get your game on with our Nintendo Switch! We will be playing a variety of Switch games including but not limited to: Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros & more!

A zine (pronounced ZEEN) is a self-published pamphlet - it can be writing, poetry, art, or any combination!

Level up your cooking by attending monthly cooking demonstrations with like minded people. Led by library staff, this program is open to adults of all cooking skill levels and will often feature recipes from cookbooks in our collection.

Stop by the Crafter Hours drop-in to work on a project (or start a new one) with us! We'll have plenty of supplies to use and some past crafts for inspiration. Ages 16+ please, all levels of craftiness welcome.

Each month we'll read a celebrity cookbook and meet to discuss and review recipes! Bring a dish from the cookbook for everyone to sample.
